ELECTRICITY & POWER SAFETY

  • No generators are permitted on any site without prior written permission from the NNSW Conference. Please use the email at the bottom of this document.
  • No extension leads are to be run between sites. Power leads must only connect directly to the power pole assigned to your site.
  • If a caravan battery needs charging, please enquire respectfully at the Big Shed. While we will do our best to assist, no guarantees can be made.

DISABLED AMENITIES

To access disabled facilities, campers must provide proof of disability and a $20 cash key deposit, refundable upon return. Do not keep keys for other events such as Grey Nomads.

NO E-BIKES, SCOOTERS, PUSH BIKES OR SKATEBOARDS

Due to high foot traffic and safety risks during Big Camp, no e-bikes, scooters, push bikes, or skateboards are to be ridden around the campground.

If you require the use of a scooter for disability reasons, please notify and seek permission from the NNSW Conference Office in advance, please use the email at the end of this document.

Unregistered motorbikes are strictly prohibited and may not be ridden around the campground or on any surrounding land.

Failure to comply may result in the immediate confiscation of the item (to be collected upon departure), or the removal of all registered occupants from that site.

ALCOHOL, TOBACCO & OTHER DRUGS

The campground is a strictly alcohol, tobacco, and drug-free environment. Possession or use will result in removal from the grounds.

CHILD SAFETY

Parents and guardians are fully responsible for their children at all times. While programs are provided, Camp is not a child-minding facility, and the Conference cannot guarantee their safety.

To opt out of promotional photography for your child, notify the NNSW Conference prior to Camp.

Children may only attend children’s divisions they are registered to. Eg. A child registered to early primary may not attend a Junior tent event. This is for child safety and allows us to meet and exceed legal requirements.

SITE ALLOCATION

While we do our best to accommodate site requests, we cannot guarantee specific allocations. Site assignments are reviewed each year, and no site is considered permanently reserved, regardless of how many consecutive years it has been occupied.

All site allocations are determined by the Camp Secretary and are final.
